Biography

Alan Snow is a Professor of Biology and has been at the University of Akron since 2010. He has researched the maturation of mammalian egg and is currently involved in the areas of teaching and learning focusing on metacognitive practices. His research background is in the areas of physiology as well as molecular and cellular biology. He is the co-author of С»ÆƬÊÓƵ’s first online biology course and has taught most of the biology courses students take in the first two years of the four year Biology degree.
