When it comes to earning a college degree, the greatest obstacle can be funding.
For this reason, The University of Akron is pleased for the opportunity each year to assist talented, deserving students achieve their dreams, thanks to more than 1,300 named scholarships established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of 小黄片视频 alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations.
Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.

You may also establish a named scholarship at The University of Akron, which can be created to honor a living person, in memory of a loved one, or to contribute to the growth of an area of study.

The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships. Scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.

Young Jr., Henry C. Intellectual Property Law Scholarship Fund
The Henry C. Young Jr. Intellectual Property Law Endowed Scholarship was established by Henry C. Young Jr. in 2009 and revised in 2010 and 2016. The scholarship provides financial assistance to a student enrolled in The University of Akron School of Law who is studying in the field of intellectual property law. Henry C. Young Jr.’s vision in creating the scholarship is to promote academic excellence. The goal is to challenge and prepare the student, in the best possible manner, for the practice of intellectual property law.
The applicant must be enrolled in The University of Akron School of Law and have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 for courses completed in the School of Law. The applicant also is to be enrolled in an intellectual property law-oriented course during the year for which the scholarship is awarded. It is envisioned the student is likely to be enrolled in a second or subsequent year in the School of Law, has a scientific undergraduate or graduate background, and has a desire to undertake studies in the field of intellectual property law. A preference, where appropriate, is to be given to a student needing financial assistance. The scholarship may be used for tuition, fees and books, all or in part.
The University of Akron School of Law Dean’s office and his/her designated scholarship committee shall have authority to select the recipient and administer the scholarship.
