When it comes to earning a college degree, the greatest obstacle can be funding.
For this reason, The University of Akron is pleased for the opportunity each year to assist talented, deserving students achieve their dreams, thanks to more than 1,300 named scholarships established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of 小黄片视频 alumni and friends, corporations, and foundations.
Scholarships truly are the best way to ensure that today’s students persist to graduation. Scholarships allow students to enroll full time and remain focused on their studies; they also reduce drop-out rates, decrease the stress of student loans, and shorten the road to graduation.
If you are interested in making a significant contribution to student success, please consider a gift to scholarships. You may also establish a named scholarship at The University of Akron, which can be created to honor a living person, in memory of a loved one, or to contribute to the growth of an area of study.

The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships. Scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.

Hills, Robert G. Scholarship in Polymer Engineering
The Robert G. Hills Scholarship in Polymer Engineering was created in 2003 to encourage a deserving student with financial need. The scholarship was established by Mrs. Martha Hills and family in honor of Robert Hills’ 75th birthday.
For more than 40 years, Mr. Hills has been devoted to the plastics industry, first at NRM Corp. and later at two companies he founded: PARAMCO and Summit Machinery Sales. An alumnus of the University, Mr. Hills is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, both its local and national chapters. He is a member of the Plastic Pioneers Association as well. For his dedication to the plastics industry, Mr. Hills is recognized on the Wall of Honor in the Goodyear Polymer Center on The University of Akron campus.
The Robert G. Hills Scholarship in Polymer Engineering shall be awarded to a deserving student demonstrating financial need and studying in the Department of Polymer Engineering. The final selection is to be made by the chair of the department in conjunction with the University’s office of financial aid.
