"Only myself and my dancers know my concept. It is up to the audience's interpretation. I want them to watch the piece, take what they get out of it and have their own experience through my choreography. The style of this piece is more of a contemporary feel and I am excited to share this work on stage this month!"
- Alex Logsdon, Choreographer
"The working title of my piece is Tied Up and is inspired by the string game Cats Cradle. I created my movement using the basic structure of the game, and the dance has evolved from there. I'm very excited to share my work in the show!"
- Rachel Spies, Choreographer
"My piece is a contemporary dance set to music by Son Lux. It explores the relationship of text and movement by using words to explain and express the hidden struggles in the lives of people around us."
- Kaytee Cox, Choreographer
"Upon creating this piece I wanted to enhance my choreographic process to the next level. I want to see how I can inspire and challenge the thought process not only to my audience but to my dancers by not going with a conceptual theme."
- Aaron Knowles, Choreographer
"This piece is a brief look into two relationships. Featuring unique and interesting partnering, this piece is a creative exploration process for myself and my dancers. We are trying something new with every count."
- Meg Katter, Choreographer
"The inspiration for my piece was music that had both staccato and legato components to it. To compliment this music, my piece has both contemporary and Hip-hop movement."
- Dana Graham, Choreographer
"The working title of my piece is Let Go. It was inspired by the pressure we all feel to conform. We are constantly struggling to find and hold onto our source of individuality. When you can find comfort in being who you really are it feels freeing and effortless."
- Jamie Vadnal, Choreographer
