Polymer professor and Associate VP for Research releases new book
A new book has just been released offering the latest insights into thermoplastic elastomers. Written by over 20 experts worldwide, including Dr. Sadhan Jana, this book dives into materials that behave like rubber but can be melted and processed like plastics.
Advances in Thermoplastic Elastomers is all about understanding and working with thermoplastic elastomers and it emphasizes creating these materials sustainably and promoting circularity in their use.
The book serves as a resource for graduate students and researchers working in industry and national laboratories and is also a reference for those starting in the field or seeking up-to-date information in a particular area.
"This book presents comprehensive updates for graduate students and researchers working in the field of thermoplastic elastomers and may serve as a one-stop reference material for beginning researchers," said Jana.
It took close to four years to come together, with Jana and co-editor Professor N. Singha dedicating themselves to collecting contributions, peer-reviewing and compiling the material into a cohesive work. It is a comprehensive guide to the latest research in rubber, plastics and materials science.
