Rumman Hossain, Ph.D.
Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Biology
Hossain earned his Ph.D. in Integrated Bioscience at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ and he returns to BCAS to teach microbiology. His expertise is in environmental microbiology, plastic pollution, stress physiology, and ecotoxicology.

Hugo Ivan Juarez
Visiting Assistant Professor of Art, Myers School of Art
Juarez was teaching at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago before coming to BCAS. His work is inspired by the Mexican American culture with which he identifies and his pieces are currently taking shape in the form of prints, installations, photographs, videos, essays, and poems.

Leah Michalos
Visiting Assistant Professor of Arts Administration, School of Dance, Theatre and Arts Administration
An Ohio native, Michalos brings with her 15 years of arts administration experience as producing/managing director of The Directors Company, an award-winning not-for-profit theatre company in New York, NY. She also has her own consulting firm where she oversees the business operations of both commercial and nonprofit theatre, music, art, and dance companies.

Gretchen Polman, Ph.D.
Visiting Assistant Professor of Music and Assistant Director of Bands, School of Music
Prior to joining BCAS, Pohlman-Bassett served as the Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music at West Liberty University and previously taught public education in the state of Missouri. During her tenure in Missouri, she served as an All-State Band French Horn adjudicator for 12 years, as well as a District Music Festival adjudicator for the Missouri Bandmasters Association and the Missouri State High School Activities Association.

Jacob Young
Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education, School of Music
Prior to coming to BCAS, Young was an adjunct faculty member at Northern Kentucky University before his latest position as vocal music director at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati. In addition to vocal performances, he has conducted choirs throughout the state.
