3D4E Student Group promotes entrepreneurship, creativity, and CAD. Members are encouraged to develop technical skills through practice and group learning of SolidWorks, which provides a strong foundation for transferable 3D modeling skills.

Amateur Radio

Amateur Radio Club aims to teach the practical applications of radio communication and educate the student community on the technological and legal aspects of amateur radio. Through building projects and participation in radio communication, the club offers a fun, laid-back environment with interesting projects and experiments in radio and general electronics.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the professional society for aerospace engineering. The AIAA С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Student Chapter offer students interested in the aerospace field a chance to meet other students with similar interests, the opportunity to hear aerospace-related guest speakers, and to participate in a variety of activities, including field trips, group projects, and social events.

American Institute of Chemical Engineers

American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals. At С»ÆƬÊÓƵ, this group is dedicated to encouraging relationships between students, faculty, and industry based on personal, professional, and social growth.

American Society of Civil Engineers

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is to enhance students’ networking, communication, problem solving, and team collaboration skills. Members are responsible for completing five service hours per semester, which can often be accomplished through the ASCE planned service and fundraising events.

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers

American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) sets and advances regulations in the HVAC industry. The organization promotes education of young and experienced engineers on a global level. The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ chapter brings in speakers to share their experiences and help students grow professionally. We also take facility tours and educate students on the HVAC industry.

Biomedical Engineering Society

Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) serves the undergraduate and graduate student body at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ by offering numerous opportunities for leadership, professional development, research, community outreach, and networking. The Society strives to enhance educational, cultural, and social experiences and promote research awareness.

ChemE Jeopardy

ChemE Jeopardy is a student organization where members meet weekly to practice ChemE Jeopardy games and compete in regional AIChE conferences. The top teams from each regional conference advance to the Annual AIChE National Student Conference. The С»ÆƬÊÓƵ ChemE Jeopardy team, which competed for the first time in 2023, secured first place at the North Central Regional Conference and ranked among the top six teams nationally.

Construction Management Association of America

Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) is for students interested in the construction industry. The organization provides networking opportunities with guest speakers and involves students in volunteer construction projects. Notable events include the Annual Employer Symposium and the Spring Break Volunteering Service Trip.

Corrosion Squad

Corrosion Squad (also known as the Association for Materials Protection and Performance, AMPP) focuses on protecting people, assets, and the environment from corrosion. The club meets monthly and features guest speakers from industry and academia discussing research, corrosion failures and successes, and innovative technology.

Electronics Club

Electronics Club inspires undergraduate students to develop their electrical and computational creativity and abilities. Students engage with local companies and learn fundamentals like soldering, breadboarding, microcontrollers, and programming. The club also fosters connections with others interested in engineering.

Engineering Student Council

Engineering Student Council (ESC) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter is an organization that works to bring together the engineering students, design teams, and other student organizations through their council meetings and professional and social events throughout the semester. They meet monthly.

Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter consists of student engineers dedicated to improving sustainability efforts on campus and in the community. They focus on renewable energy, recycling, and water conservation, and engage in K-12 outreach programs and industry leader talks.

EUREKA

EUREKA is the Association of Honors Engineers. This group hosts alumni, faculty, and industry speakers, as well as social events in the Honors Common Room throughout the academic year.

Gathering of Potential Surveyors

The Gathering of Potential Surveyors (GPS) is a student club dedicated to fostering interest in surveying and mapping. We offer workshops, guest lectures, and field trips, providing hands-on experience and networking opportunities. Join us to connect with peers, learn industry skills, and explore the exciting world of surveying!

National Society of Black Engineers

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is one of the largest student-governed organizations based in the United States. NSBE’s mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. NSBE С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter offers its members leadership training, professional development activities, mentoring, career placement services, community service opportunities and more.

Polymer Student Organization

The Polymer Student Organization is for students at С»ÆƬÊÓƵ interested in polymer science or polymer engineering. The group is open to graduate and undergraduate students. Students meet regularly and participate in fun social activities like the fall picnic and winter holiday party.

Pride in STEMM

Pride in STEMM is a student organization devoted to the support of Queer students in science, technology, engineering, math and medical fields. We focus primarily on education, community building and professional development. We welcome all students including allies and non-STEM majors and are always striving to support the STEM and LGBTQ+ communities.

Roo Horizons

Roo Horizons bridges the gap between middle school, high school, and collegiate students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). The organization engages students through lesson plans, technology demonstrations, and campus and community events.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter is to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. With their core values being familia, service, learning and resilience, SHPE envisions a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influenced as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.

Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics

Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter provides a forum for discussing applied mathematics research, including a lecture series on research and career development. SIAM fosters interactions between undergraduate and graduate students and organizes social events, field trips, and offers opportunities to join the national mathematics honor society, Pi Mu Epsilon. Applications are due by March 14 each year.

Society of Sales Engineers (SSE) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter offers a community for engineering and business students to explore career opportunities in technical sales. Members develop professional and leadership skills, participate in social events and workshops, and compete annually at the National Sales Engineering Competition.

Society of Women Engineers

Society of Women Engineers (SWE) С»ÆƬÊÓƵ Chapter is a student organization the helps women (and men) in engineering. Resources include workshops, training, resume editing, business etiquette, and networking. SWE members attend regional and annual conferences where further resources are available, including career fairs and professional development.
